In Liberia, Tech4Future-Liberia is fundraising to ship more than 25,000 textbooks and computer devices through a powerful partnership with Books for Africa. These resources will stock school libraries, community labs, and youth centers—giving students the tools to read, explore, and build real digital skills. Every dollar and donated device helps move this shipment from warehouse floors to West African classrooms.
Launching Computer Skills & IT Field Service Training in Minnesota
In Brooklyn Park, Tech4Future-Minnesota is preparing to launch a two-month Computer Skills and IT Field Service Training program for more than 50 trainees. This intensive course will introduce participants to real-world troubleshooting, device setup, and basic field service workflows—skills that open doors to entry-level IT roles and long-term careers.
To make this possible, we are actively seeking partners, sponsors, and professional volunteer facilitators who can help teach, mentor, and equip our first cohort. Our immediate goal is to secure at least 50 laptops, printers, scanners, workstations, and essential tools so that every trainee can learn on reliable equipment from day one.
Repair Clinic and Long-Term Access to Technology
Alongside the training, Tech4Future-Minnesota is building a Repair Clinic that will officially open in November 2026. This clinic will serve as both a learning lab and a community service hub—where trainees and volunteer technicians repair donated devices, extend their lifespan, and prepare them for use in schools, nonprofits, and families across West Africa and Minnesota.
